Refund & cancellation policy
Donations are ordinarily final
A sponsorship is a voluntary religious donation towards the printing and distribution of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam. Once the offering has been made and the set has been printed, dedicated or dispatched, it cannot ordinarily be refunded.
When we will refund
- Duplicate payment. If you were charged twice for the same sponsorship, the extra amount is refunded in full.
- Payment taken but sponsorship not recorded. If money has been debited and your reference does not show as received, tell us and we will either complete the sponsorship or refund you.
- We cannot fulfil it. If the set in your chosen language cannot be supplied and you do not wish to take an alternative, we will refund you in full.
- Cancelled before dispatch. If you write to us before the set has been printed with a dedication or handed over, we will do our best to accommodate a cancellation.
How to request a refund
Write to info@iskconchennai.org, quoting your reference number (for example BP-2026-0001), the amount, and the date of payment.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are made to the same payment method used for the original transaction. Once we initiate a refund, banks and card issuers typically take 5–10 working days to credit it. We will confirm to you when the refund has been initiated.
Cancellation of a booking made for offline payment
If you booked a sponsorship and chose to pay at the temple or a centre, no money has been taken. Simply tell us you do not wish to proceed, or ignore the booking — it will lapse.
